Physical Therapy
How can physical therapy help? For most patients this can help improve the mobility and restore the use of affected joints. Our goal is to help you get moving safely and effectively!
Fort Bend Rheumatology is one of the only rheumatology practices in the state of Texas with a physical therapist on-site! This unique set up offers our patients with advanced arthritis and other chronic musculoskeletal conditions to work with both the therapist and doctor step by step to tailor therapies for the optimal benefit of each patient. Our physical therapist can treat a variety of conditions including patients with the following:
Joint and muscle pain
Balance difficulties
Recovery and Deconditioning needs
Advanced arthritis
Chronic musculoskeletal conditions
Sports injuries
Orthopedic related dysfunction
Our Physical therapist Kelly Rohde, PT, DPT here on staff with FBRA will first evaluate your current level of function with a thorough history and physical exam. She then will work with you to design a personalized treatment plan that addresses your movement impairments. By having an in-house physical therapist it allows for a more efficient referral process and collaboration between your provider, your physical therapist, and you. We also accept outside physical therapy referrals from other physicians just simply have your doctor's office fax the referral to us at 281-980-1754.
Our main goal at Fort Bend Rheumatology is to improve your quality of life by easing pain and improving function!
